Ustimchuk Family | Christmas 2017 | The Barn at Poplar Springs Farm | Moore, SC

4 years ago, Tanya and Vitaliy contacted me for the 1st time for a Christmas photo shoot. I remember I was so excited because they were so sweet, and fun.  At that time they only had Rocky, their sweet little dog. Since then I have had the pleasure of capturing them grow as they added Vitaliy Jr. to their family.

We tried a theme last year, cookies and milk. But Jr. even though he was barely walking, did not want to sit, lay, stand or stay still at all. So this year we decided to skip the props. We had to let him run around a bit and get to know the place, before asking him to do anything.

Mom and Dad had to do some fun things to make Jr. laugh and smile, because out of all the days Tanya told me, he decided to skip his nap. The sun went down and I pulled out a blanket and little led Christmas lights that I have been dying to use with a toddler. Jr. just celebrated his birthday so he thought that the LED’s were candles, and was trying to blow them out, totally melted my heart. And in the end they all did great, and I got all the shots that I wanted to get.

A huge thanks to “The Barn at Poplar Springs Farm” I love this wedding venue for any kind of shoots, especially families. They have so much to offer, from a newly built beautiful red barn, bridal cabin, gorgeous fields, fences, swing bench, tractors and the views especially at sunset are breathe taking. I can go on forever so I’ll stop here lol. So here are some of my favorites from their photo session. Enjoy!

Monroe Family | Christmas 2017 | Spartanburg SC

I was so excited when Nicole asked me to do a Christmas shoot for her. I have not met Hudson yet and couldn't wait to work this bundle of energy. We ended up going to her sisters back yard in Spartanburg which is absolutely stunning and a photographers dream location. I wonder if she would notice me trying to sneak in a family back there lol.  It was such a perfect cold evening, the leaves were crispy and the sunset was magical. We ended trying to convince Hudson that between McDonalds and Zaxby's; Zaxby's is a better choice. Enjoy my favorites!

The Morgans | Christmas 2017 | Greer, South Carolina

I had such a blast with the Morgans while shooting their Christmas session. With all the crazy work schedules we had to take pictures on Sunday morning, and this was the 1st day where it was freezing in SC! By the time we were done, my fingers were all pins and needles. But they were all troopers and didn't let the cold effect the shoot at all. What a special and Godly family the Morgans are, without words they were able to show the love of Christ. Here are a few of my favorites from their session.

P.S - I'm definitely investing into some nice gloves for the freezing shoots that are coming my way! Any suggestions?

Vitaliy & Jenna | Family | Jupiter Florida

"The Love in our family flows strong & deep, leaving us memories to treasure and keep"

What a pleasure it was getting to know this beautiful family, full of unique personalities; not a single dull moment. They flew in from Seattle, WA to Jupiter, Florida for their first stop on their family vacation. Each year Jenna and Vitaliy go to Mexico to minister, help rebuild buildings, helping kids and adults find joy and hope. Its so inspiring to hear the stories and see their passion. I cant wait to see their smiling faces again, hopefully this time around it will be in Seattle.

Brigitte Bartley

"Expand your mind, challenge yourself, learn more, do more and try more. Get enthusiastic, passionate and excited about the unknown. Try something new, visit new places. Simply get out and give it all and you will never stop growing, smiling and loving life." - Brigitte Bartley

This quote describes Brigitte perfectly and the way she lives her everyday life. She has 3 beautiful boy which are sweet, funny, and smart. I enjoyed every min I spend with them. I cant wait to take more pictures of this fun bunch.

Winter Wedding | Spartanburg, SC photographer | David & Ilona

David is from Bellingham, Washington, when he came to visit his family in Spartanburg, South Carolina he met Ilona and they were instantly attracted to each other. The day of their wedding was such a beautiful day sunny but freezing; good thing it wasn’t too windy or else we would all be sick the next morning. The reception and ceremony at “Art of Salvation Church in Inman” was so beautifully decorated, every detail was perfect, and their I Do’s were just so sweet. We ended up going to downtown Greenville after the reception for some beautiful night pictures and delicious (oh so needed) Starbucks coffee! David and Ilona wishing you all the happiness in the world and I can’t wait to see you two love birds when you come to visit.
