Southern Girl Chic Boutique | Simpsonville South Carolina

I'm so blessed and excited that I had the opportunity to work with such beautiful ladies, while we shot some of the spring collection for a cute little boutique on Woodruff Rd in Simpsonville South Carolina, "Southern Girl Chic". You can come in grab a glass of bubbly's and shop till you drop.

It was a very windy and cold day. I was impressed with how well they did, especially with Mary & Jane keeping all of that beautiful Rapunzel hair from covering their faces. We had to send in Laurie back inside at one point because her lips started to turn blue, but she was definitely a trooper. Sally King the owner and Jonet Wooten a local blogger were our rocks. Y'all ladies are amazing.

It was fun thinking outside the box. We walked next door to a smoothie shop and rearranged their tables and chairs a bit, I promise we put it all back. Drove down the street to a building that had beautiful yellow accents which helped the girls outfits stand out so much more and its a Springy color. Is Springy even a word? We ended up jumping out on the road in front of the boutique for a few group shots before the sun set all the way.

Here are some of my favorites!! Comment, Like, Share, and show the ladies some love!!!

Another Birthday | Personal Post Greenville, SC

It seems like just yesterday we were watching our son say his first word, take his first step, and yell “Don’t let go!! Don’t let go!!!” when he was learning to ride a bike… I can’t believe that my baby just turned 9 years old!!!

I remember being heartbroken when I found out that I couldn’t have kids; excited and freaked out when I found out I was pregnant because it was not possible, and beyond overjoyed when I held him for the very first time. He has been the biggest blessing in my life, and I Thank God each and every day for giving me such an amazing, sweet and wonderful gift!! Don’t get me wrong he still frustrates me and doesn’t listen at times but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

The other night while I was flipping thru our family pictures I realized how fast time goes by, and I really need to make more of an effort to be in each moment the good and the bad. Looking at the pictures I didn’t see or feel the things we were stressed about or our frustrations. All I felt was the joy and the warm feelings, how cute he was the silly things he was doing. So with tears in my eyes and a huge smile on my face; I want to let you all know we made it 9 whole years with God’s wisdom, grace and mercy! And I pray every day for more of it!!

One of my goals for this year is to get our family pictures printed. Make books and plaster pictures all over my house; one can never have enough.  So that even on a bad or stressful day, I can come home, see those pictures and a smile would come to my face.

Ustimchuk Family | Christmas 2017 | The Barn at Poplar Springs Farm | Moore, SC

4 years ago, Tanya and Vitaliy contacted me for the 1st time for a Christmas photo shoot. I remember I was so excited because they were so sweet, and fun.  At that time they only had Rocky, their sweet little dog. Since then I have had the pleasure of capturing them grow as they added Vitaliy Jr. to their family.

We tried a theme last year, cookies and milk. But Jr. even though he was barely walking, did not want to sit, lay, stand or stay still at all. So this year we decided to skip the props. We had to let him run around a bit and get to know the place, before asking him to do anything.

Mom and Dad had to do some fun things to make Jr. laugh and smile, because out of all the days Tanya told me, he decided to skip his nap. The sun went down and I pulled out a blanket and little led Christmas lights that I have been dying to use with a toddler. Jr. just celebrated his birthday so he thought that the LED’s were candles, and was trying to blow them out, totally melted my heart. And in the end they all did great, and I got all the shots that I wanted to get.

A huge thanks to “The Barn at Poplar Springs Farm” I love this wedding venue for any kind of shoots, especially families. They have so much to offer, from a newly built beautiful red barn, bridal cabin, gorgeous fields, fences, swing bench, tractors and the views especially at sunset are breathe taking. I can go on forever so I’ll stop here lol. So here are some of my favorites from their photo session. Enjoy!

Monroe Family | Christmas 2017 | Spartanburg SC

I was so excited when Nicole asked me to do a Christmas shoot for her. I have not met Hudson yet and couldn't wait to work this bundle of energy. We ended up going to her sisters back yard in Spartanburg which is absolutely stunning and a photographers dream location. I wonder if she would notice me trying to sneak in a family back there lol.  It was such a perfect cold evening, the leaves were crispy and the sunset was magical. We ended trying to convince Hudson that between McDonalds and Zaxby's; Zaxby's is a better choice. Enjoy my favorites!

Megan Scruggs | Portrait | Spartanburg SC

Megan is such a beautiful girl, inside, and out; I enjoyed every minute of it. She's so full of life, joy, and happiness. We were met by the golden rays of the Carolina's sunset, 85 degrees and fire ants. But... We survived and got some amazing goodness out of it! I hope ya'll enjoy!! "I will walk by faith, even when I can not see"
